Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected a loss of $2.18.

As expected, no revenue for the year ended Dec. 31 was reported.

The company said it ended the year with $160.7 million in cash, cash equivalents, and marketable securities.

Shares of Vera were up 4.8% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
