01:42 PM EDT, 06/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Morningstar DBRS on Monday assigned a provisional credit rating of "BBB (low)" with a stable trend to Veren's ( VRN ) senior unsecured notes.

The notes will be direct unsecured obligations of the company and will rank equal in right of payment with all other existing debt of the oil and gas company.

Veren ( VRN ) will use the issuance proceeds to refinance existing debt.
