10:18 AM EDT, 06/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Morningstar DBRS on Monday assigned a provisional credit rating of "BBB (low)" with a stable trend to Veren's ( VRN ) senior unsecured notes.

The senior notes will be direct unsecured obligations of the company and will rank equal in right of payment with all other existing debt of the company.

The company's shares were up $0.23 or 2.25% on last look on Tuesday in Canada.
