Verisk Analytics Launches New Models for Catastrophe Modeling

10:29 AM EDT, 04/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Verisk Analytics ( VRSK ) said Monday it's launching its Next Generation Models product for catastrophe modeling and risk analysis.

The models will allow insurers to assess risk with an improved financial modeling framework that will reflect expected insured losses from extreme events, the company said.

The models are available on Verisk's platform Touchstone, which is used by P&C insurers, the company said.

Verisk also said its Hurricane Model product for the US, which is available as part of the Next Generation Models, has been approved for filing in Florida.
