Verizon Communications' Outage Hit Thousands, Downdetector Reports

12:12 PM EDT, 09/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Verizon Communications' ( VZ ) services were unavailable to thousands of its customers on Monday, according to information from the Downdetector.com website.

More that 100,000 of outage incidents have so far been reported to the website, which tracks such downtime incidents.

Verizon said some of its wireless customers have been experiencing connectivity issues since 9 a.m. ET and its engineers are "working diligently on the issue."
