Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.09.

Total operating revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was $35.68 billion, compared with $35.13 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $35.34 billion.

Shares of Verizon were down 1% in recent Friday premarket activity.
