11:20 AM EDT, 09/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Verizon Communications' ( VZ ) Verizon Business division said Tuesday that it won a new contract to become the South Carolina Army National Guard's primary wireless communications partner.

The contract covers connectivity solutions for over 1,000 devices, such as 5G and 4G LTE for smartphones and data devices, according to the statement. Verizon said the contract will also include access to its Verizon Frontline Crisis Response Team for 24/7 support services.

No financial details were disclosed.
