10:46 AM EDT, 04/09/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Verizon Communications ( VZ ), (VZ), the National Hockey League's New Jersey Devils, and Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, said Tuesday they have agreed to a multiyear extension of their partnership.

Under the agreement, Verizon will provide 5G and Wi-Fi services at Devils games and other events at Prudential Center.

Separately, Verizon said Tuesday it has implemented managed software defined wide area networking services to around 1,000 sites for the state of Virginia.

The network services will back the state's digital government projects, the company said.

Financial details of each agreement weren't provided.
