08:48 AM EDT, 06/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Verizon Communications ( VZ ) and T-Mobile (TMUS) are facing new patent infringement lawsuits from VoIP-Pal.com, claiming violations of two of VoIP-Pal.com's routing, billing, and rating patents, VoIP-Pal.com said Monday.
The company said the lawsuit against T-Mobile also includes another VoIP-Pal patent.
These patents cover technology for routing call sessions over various networks, including Direct Inward Dialing.
"While we are prepared to go the distance if needed, we remain hopeful to resolve our legal actions prior to commencement of a trial," VoIP-Pal's Chief Executive Emil Malak said.
Regarding its mobile gateway patents, the company said the trials against Verizon and T-Mobile are slated for Aug. 19, and Nov. 4, respectively. Final pre-trial conferences are set for July 9, and July 15, VoIP-Pal added.
Verizon and T-Mobile did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
