12:37 PM EST, 11/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Verizon Communications' ( VZ ) unit Verizon Business said Monday it entered a partnership with Amazon.com's ( AMZN ) Amazon Web Services to build high-capacity, low-latency network infrastructure.

Under the Verizon AI Connect agreement, Verizon will build fiber pathways connecting AWS data center locations to help it scale its cloud services for customers creating and deploying AI applications at scale, according to a statement.

The deal also includes the joint development of private mobile edge computing offerings for enterprise clients, the company said.
