10:36 AM EDT, 09/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Verizon Communications ( VZ ) division Verizon Business has entered an agreement to integrate Verizon 5G connectivity into Vay Technology's fleet of teleoperated electric vehicles, the companies said in a joint statement Tuesday.

The agreement also features custom data plans designed to handle the large volumes of data produced by the sensors and cameras on Vay's vehicles, the companies said.

Financial details weren't disclosed.
