06:23 AM EDT, 04/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Versamet Royalties ( VMET ) said Monday it signed a deal with fund entities managed by Orion Resource Partners and Blackstone (BX) affiliates to acquire an existing 3.52% gold stream from Skeena Resources' ( SKE ) Eskay Creek gold-silver project in British Columbia.
The deal's terms include $340 million payable in cash and $20 million in Versamet common shares.
Versamet said it's entitled to receive 3.52% of the payable gold production for the life of the mine, provided that the project achieves certain completion tests by Sept. 30, 2027.
Versamet shares were up 0.2% in premarket activity, while Skeena fell 1.8%.
