Versus Systems Names Interim CEO, Plans Restructuring -- Shares Soar After Hours

05:41 PM EDT, 07/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Versus Systems ( VS ) shares soared 39% in extended trading Monday after the company announced a strategic restructuring and the appointment of Curtis Wolfe as interim chief executive officer starting immediately.

Curtis, who has previously worked at technology companies, including online media, ad technologies, and video games, said Versus Systems ( VS ) will conduct a "thorough" review of its business. The company will also evaluate strategic partnerships with companies.

Wolfe's appointment followed the resignations of CEO and Director Matthew Pierce, Chief Financial Officer Craig Finster, and Chairman Keyvan Penman. Independent directors Michelle Gahagan and Shannon Pruitt also resigned, the video game software company said.
