Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.16.

Total revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $192.1 million, up from $170.4 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $191.7 million.

The company said it expects Q4 revenue in the range of $192 million to $196 million. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $199 million.

For 2025, Vertex said it now expects revenue in the range of $745.7 million to $749.7 million, down from its prior range of $750 million to $754 million. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $752.3 million.

Shares of the company were down 1.7% in recent Monday premarket activity.
