Vertiv Holdings Q2 Adjusted Earnings, Net Sales Rise; Sets Q3 Guidance, Updates 2024 Outlook

07:21 AM EDT, 07/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Vertiv Holdings ( VRT ) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Wednesday of $0.67 per diluted share, up from $0.46 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.57.

Net sales for the quarter ended June 30 was $1.95 billion, up from $1.73 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $1.94 billion.

Vertiv ( VRT ) said it expects Q3 adjusted earnings of $0.65 to $0.69 per diluted share on net sales of $1.94 billion to $1.99 billion. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $0.63 and $1.97 billion, respectively.

The company said it now expects 2024 adjusted diluted EPS of $2.47 to $2.53. That compares with $2.29 to $2.35 previously. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $2.39.

Net sales for the year is now projected to be $7.60 billion to $7.74 billion, the company said. That compares with its prior guidance of $7.54 billion to $7.69 billion. Analysts polled by Capital IQ are looking for $7.69 billion.
