Vertiv, Nvidia Collaborate on Power Platform for AI Data Centers

01:25 PM EDT, 10/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Vertiv ( VRT ) said Monday it advanced development of its 800-volt direct current power platform in collaboration with Nvidia ( NVDA ) to support next-generation artificial intelligence data centers.

The company said the system is designed to meet megawatt-scale power demands and is expected to launch in the second half of 2026, coinciding with Nvidia's ( NVDA ) planned rollout of its Rubin Ultra platform in 2027.

Vertiv ( VRT ) said its scalable architecture, integrated with energy storage, will provide a power foundation for large AI and high-performance computing workloads.

Shares of Nvidia ( NVDA ) were up 3.1% while Vertiv ( VRT ) added 6.7% in recent trading.
