09:41 AM EDT, 10/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Vestis ( VSTS ) shares dropped past 5% in recent Friday trading and UniFirst ( UNF ) shares were down 0.5% as Elis said it has terminated exploratory talks with the companies related to a potential entry into the US market.

"Both discussions have been terminated, as neither would have allowed Elis to complete a transaction that would be in line with the company's strict financial discipline," Elis said Friday.
