VF Fiscal Q2 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Fall; Dividend Maintained; Shares Rise After Hours

05:10 PM EDT, 10/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- VF (VFC) reported a fiscal Q2 adjusted earnings late Monday of $0.60 per share, down from $0.63 a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $0.37.

Revenue in the quarter ended Sept. 28 fell to $2.76 billion from $2.92 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $2.71 billion.

The company expects fiscal Q3 revenue of $2.7 billion to $2.75 billion. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $2.78 billion.

The company maintained a quarterly dividend of $0.09 a share, payable Dec. 18 to investors of record Dec. 10.

Shares of the company jumped 18% in recent after-hours activity.
