11:45 AM EDT, 10/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- ViaSat ( VSAT ) said Monday it has joined the Connectbase platform to offer its satellite internet services to small and medium-sized businesses across the US, including underserved areas.

The collaboration will make it easy for sales partners to access Viasat's ( VSAT ) business internet plans to access nationwide high-speed, reliable connectivity. Viasat ( VSAT ) also provides essential digital tools to enhance business operations even in remote areas without fiber or traditional internet, the company said.

Backup services to ensure continuity during outages are also offered to small and medium-sized businesses, the company added.

Shares of ViaSat ( VSAT ) fell more than 3% in recent trading activity.
