03:33 AM EST, 11/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- ViaSat ( VSAT ) said Friday that its ViaSat ( VSAT )-3 Flight 2 satellite has successfully launched and achieved initial signal acquisition.

The satellite lifted off late Thursday aboard a United Launch Alliance Atlas V551 rocket from Florida's Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, the company said.

The satellite will provide services over the Americas for communications firms and defense customers, doubling Viasat's ( VSAT ) overall bandwidth capacity, the company said.
