10:40 AM EDT, 03/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Viasat ( VSAT ) said Wednesday it has been picked to provide in-flight Wi-Fi services to 40 additional Korean Air airplanes.
The company will provide the services to 40 Boeing (BA) 787 planes, Viasat ( VSAT ) said, adding that last year it disclosed that Korean Air had pledged to install its connectivity services in 30 Airbus A321neo aircraft.
The 70 planes are slated to enter service by the end of 2027, Viasat ( VSAT ) said.
Financial details weren't provided.
The shares of the company were up 4.3% in recent trading.
