10:28 AM EDT, 03/14/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Viasat ( VSAT ) and Royal Jordanian Airlines said Thursday the carrier will install Viasat's ( VSAT ) in-flight Wi-Fi connectivity system across multiple fleets.

Royal Jordanian will equip more than 40 jets with the systems, including plans to factory-install it on its Boeing ( BA ) 787-9 fleets. It also intends to retrofit its Boeing 787-8 wide-body aircraft with the advanced Wi-Fi, the companies said.

Viasat ( VSAT ) shares were down 2.9% in recent trading.
