08:07 AM EDT, 07/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Viatris ( VTRS ) said Tuesday the US Department of Justice's Antitrust Division informed the company it no longer considers Mylan and its former President Rajiv Malik a subject of its generic drug market antitrust probe.

The DOJ's Civil Division also communicated to the company that it does not anticipate any further actions regarding a civil probe demand related to the pricing and sales of generic drug products, Viatris ( VTRS ) added.

Shares of the company were up 1.5% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
