Vicinity Motor Receives Follow-on Orders From Quebec Transit Operators

07:57 AM EDT, 07/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Vicinity Motor ( VEV ) said Wednesday that it received follow-on purchase orders from two transit operators in Quebec, Canada for three Vicinity classic clean diesel buses.

Under the supply agreements, one bus will go to Robert Paquette Autobus and two were ordered by Les Autobus Transcobec, Vicinity Motor ( VEV ) said, adding the buses will be deployed for service with Canadian public transit agency EXO.

Delivery of the buses is scheduled for 2025, the company added. Financial terms of the agreements were not disclosed.

The company's share price was up 6% during premarket activity Wednesday.
