07:22 AM EDT, 07/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Vicinity Motor ( VEV ) said Monday Sustainability Partners increased its initial order of four Vicinity Lightning electric buses to 18 vehicles.

Financial details of the transaction weren't disclosed.

The ordered buses are scheduled for delivery this year, Vicinity Motor ( VEV ) said.

The vehicles will be used at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu, according to Vicinity Motor ( VEV ).

Vicinity Motor ( VEV ) shares were up 4% in recent Monday premarket activity.
