Vietnam airlines signs deal with Boeing for 50 737-8 jets

HANOI, Feb 19 (Reuters) - Vietnam Airlines has

signed an ‌agreement with ⁠Boeing to ⁠buy 50 ‌narrow-body

737-8 ‌jets, it said on ‌Thursday.

The country's flag carrier is also ‌in talks with the U.S.

aircraft ⁠manufacturer for ⁠the additional purchases of ⁠30

wide-body ‌planes with ‌a ⁠value of up to $12 billion, it said in a

statement.
