04:28 PM EDT, 10/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Viking (VIK) said Tuesday it received two new river ships, the Viking Honir, which will sail the Rhine, Main, and Danube Rivers, and the Viking Thoth, which will operate on the Nile.

The Honir, built in Switzerland, carries 190 guests, while the Egypt-based Thoth carries 82. Both feature Viking's Scandinavian design and will serve popular regional itineraries.

Viking said it plans to add 23 river ships by 2028 and 10 ocean vessels by 2031 as part of its long-term expansion.
