Village Super Market Chairman William Sumas Dies

04:33 AM EDT, 07/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Village Super Market ( VLGEA ) said late Wednesday that William P. Sumas, its board chairman, has died.

Sumas joined Village in 1960 and served as chairman since 2017.

Robert Sumas, chief executive officer and vice chairman, will be the interim chairman until the board appoints a replacement, the company said.
