Viper Energy Prices $1.6 Billion Notes Offering

04:55 PM EDT, 07/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Viper Energy ( VNOM ) said late Wednesday that its operating firm, Viper Energy Partners, priced an offering of $1.6 billion of senior notes.

The offering comprises $500 million of 4.9% senior notes due 2030 and $1.1 billion of 5.7% notes due 2035.

The price to the public was 99.902% of the principal amount for the 2030 notes and 99.636% for the 2035 notes. The offering is expected to close on July 23, subject to customary closing conditions, the company said.

The operating company plans to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes, including redeeming Viper Energy's ( VNOM ) 7.375% senior notes due 2031 and 5.375% senior notes due 2027.

If its previously announced acquisition of Sitio Royalties (STR) closes, proceeds may also be used to redeem Sitio's 7.875% senior notes due 2028 and repay borrowings under Sitio's revolving credit facility.

Shares of Viper Energy ( VNOM ) were up 2% in after-hours trading.
