04:24 PM EST, 11/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Viper Energy ( VNOM ) reported a Q3 loss late Monday of $0.52 per diluted share, swinging from earnings of $0.52 a year earlier.

The company, a subsidiary of Diamondback Energy ( FANG ) , also posted an adjusted EPS of $0.40 a share for the quarter. Analysts polled by FactSet expected $0.38.

Operating income for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $418 million, up from $211 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $403.5 million.
