VirnetX Shares Surge After Inclusion in GSA Schedule Contract

01:32 PM EDT, 10/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- VirnetX Holding ( VHC ) shares were up over 40% in recent Friday trading after the firm said it has been awarded a General Services Administration Multiple Award Schedule contract.

The designation makes the company an approved technology provider for government agencies seeking cybersecurity, secure communications, and digital-engineering capabilities under pre-negotiated terms and pricing, VirnetX ( VHC ) said.

The company said the inclusion on the GSA Schedule allows it to collaborate on defense initiatives, bid on government contracts and support the Department of War, among others.
