Virtu Financial Q2 Normalized Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Rise; Maintains Dividend; Shares Rise Pre-Bell

07:30 AM EDT, 07/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Virtu Financial ( VIRT ) reported Q2 normalized adjusted earnings Thursday of $0.83 per share, up from $0.37 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.60.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $693 million, up from $506.9 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $331.57 million.

The company said it maintained its quarterly dividend at $0.24 per share, payable Sept.15 to shareholders of record Sept.1.

Virtu's shares rose more than 3% in recent Thursday premarket activity.
