05:32 AM EDT, 09/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Visa (V) said Tuesday it will launch a stablecoin prefunding pilot through Visa Direct in a bid to help businesses fund cross-border payments faster.

The move allows businesses to prefund Visa Direct with stablecoins instead of only using fiat.

Visa said it's working with select partners that meet the pilot criteria, with plans to expand the pilot next year.
