09:47 AM EDT, 06/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Vishay Intertechnology ( VSH ) said Thursday it has acquired Ametherm for about $31.5 million in cash.

Ametherm provides precision thermistors for inrush current limiters and temperature sensing to clients in the automotive, industrial, aerospace and defense, and medical sectors, Vishay said.

Vishay shares were down 0.5% in recent trading.
