Vishay Intertechnology Purchases Nexperia's Wafer Fabrication Facility

03:08 AM EST, 03/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Vishay Intertechnology ( VSH ) said Wednesday it has acquired the wafer fabrication facility and operations of Nexperia located in Newport, South Wales, UK for about $177 million in cash.

The facility has a monthly production capacity of more than 30,000 wafers, the company said.

Vishay funded the deal using available cash.

Price: 22.85, Change: -0.01, Percent Change: -0.04
