03:33 AM EST, 12/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Vision Marine Technologies ( VMAR ) said Sunday it has entered a partnership with Massimo Group's ( MAMO ) marine division to collaboratively produce a 30-foot electric pontoon platform designed for commercial and recreational markets.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Massimo Marine's Garland, Texas production facilities are expected to help deliver the electric pontoons to market, the company said.

Vision Marine ( VMAR ) said the deal is part of its strategy to offer complete electric boats directly to consumers and to take advantage of what the company described as a growing market for pontoon boats.
