10:42 AM EST, 11/18/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Vision Marine Technologies ( VMAR ) said Monday it partnered with privately held Smoker Craft to design and build electric propulsion systems for Smoker Craft pontoon boats.

Vision Marine ( VMAR ) said the new pontoon platforms will use its 180-horsepower electric propulsion systems and are primarily intended for rental operations, boat clubs and other commercial applications.

Financial details and other terms of the collaboration agreement were not disclosed.
