Visionary Holdings Says Ontario Court Orders Board, Governance Investigation
Jul 22, 2025 9:36 AM

12:19 PM EDT, 07/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Visionary Holdings ( GV ) said that the Ontario Superior Court of Justice ordered an investigation to examine allegations of misconduct related to the composition of the board and related governance.

The court barred Fan Zhou, the founder and chairperson, from participating in management until the investigation is complete, Toronto-based Visionary said Tuesday in a statement.

The court also blocked 3888 Investment Group, controlled by Zhou's daughter and holding 97% voting power, from removing certain board members, Visionary said. The court confirmed that the board, as established on March 25, remains legitimate until further order, the company said.

"Visionary is committed to complying with all court orders and maintaining transparency with its shareholders and stakeholders," according to the statement.
