04:17 AM EDT, 04/10/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Vistra ( VST ) said late Tuesday it priced a private placement of $500 million of 6% senior secured notes due 2034 at 99.865% of their face value and a $1 billion offering of 6.875% senior unsecured notes due 2032 at 100% of the face value.

The offerings are expected to close Friday, subject to customary conditions.

The company intends to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, including the refinancing of outstanding indebtedness due to mature in 2024.
