Vital Farms Q3 EPS, Net Revenue Increase; Shares Lower

10:12 AM EST, 11/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Vital Farms ( VITL ) shares were about 14% lower in early trading Thursday after the company reported Q3 earnings of $0.16 per diluted share, up from $0.10 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.12.

Net revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 29 was $145 million, up from $110.4 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $145.3 million.

The company said it now expects fiscal 2024 net revenue of at least $600 million, up from its previous outlook of at least $590 million.

Four analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $593.8 million.
