VivoPower's Tembo Signs 5-Year Deal With Associated Vehicle Assemblers in East Africa

10:23 AM EDT, 03/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- VivoPower International ( VVPR ) said Tuesday that its subsidiary Tembo e-LV has signed a five-year distribution agreement with Associated Vehicle Assemblers for customers in Kenya, Tanzania and other East African countries.

The companies target 200 vehicle conversions in the first year and 1,600 over five years, VivoPower ( VVPR ) said.

Under the terms of the agreement, Associated Vehicle Assemblers will assemble vehicles using Tembo's electric utility vehicle technology, handle local sales, and provide maintenance services, VivoPower ( VVPR ) said.

The company said the deal adds to a partnership between Temo and ETC Group in Kenya.
