Vodafone Idea moves Supreme Court; seeks re-computation of AGR demand

Vodafone Idea has moved the Supreme Court, claiming that there have been errors in the telecom department's calculation of adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues. Vodafone Idea, the worst hit by the AGR case ruling owes over Rs 58,000 crore to the Centre.

Vodafone Idea has sighted a clerical or an arithmetic error. The company claims that there are revenues which have been counted twice over, there are deductions which have not been accounted for and there are such issues which have not been taken into account while finalising the demand.
