Volaris Passenger Demand, Capacity Fell in December

05:09 PM EST, 01/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Volaris (VLRS) said Wednesday its passenger demand, measured as revenue passenger miles, fell 2.1% in December to 2.77 billion from 2.83 billion a year earlier.

Capacity, measured as available seat miles, dropped 4.5% to 3.16 billion from 3.31 billion, the low-cost carrier said.

Load factor rose to 87.6% from 85.4%.
