05:59 AM EDT, 06/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Volaris (VLRS) reported late Wednesday that its passenger demand, measured as revenue passenger miles, rose 3.5% year over year in May.

Capacity for the month, measured as available seat miles, increased 9% on an annual basis, the company said.

The load factor was 81.8% in May, down from 86.1% a year earlier.
