07:19 AM EDT, 09/23/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Volatus Aerospace ( TAKOF ) Tuesday said a previously-disclosed drone contract has been expanded by $700,000, bringing the total contract value to $1.7 million. Deliveries of the intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) drone systems are underway and expected to be completed this month.
The order expansion highlights the customer's confidence in Volatus' proven ability to deliver mission-critical ISR solutions on time and at scale, Volatus said. The drone systems are designed for short-range operations and are equipped with both electro-optical and thermal imaging sensors to support day and night operations in all weather conditions.
"This contract expansion and the commencement of deliveries validate both the strength of our ISR product line offerings and our ability to execute on significant defense orders," said chief executive Glen Lynch. "We continue to demonstrate our capacity to deliver for allied defense customers as demand for scalable and cost-effective ISR capabilities grows across NATO member states."
Volatus closed up $0.03 to $0.59 on the TSX Venture Exchange Monday.
