WOLFSBURG, March 11 (Reuters) - Volkswagen
is conducting a "reality check" analysis over whether it should
still bring its CUPRA brand vehicles to the U.S. by 2030 as
previously planned, Volkswagen's chief executive said on
Tuesday.
"Our intention is still there... we want to make
U.S.-specific products. But of course we must not close our eyes
to what is happening in the USA," Oliver Blume said referring to
factors influencing their decision including the balance between
EV and combustion engine sales.
