08:28 AM EDT, 06/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Volt Lithium ( VLTLF ) on Wednesday advised of the upcoming final assembly and deployment of its mobile direct lithium extraction (DLE) unit in North Dakota's Bakken region, with commissioning scheduled for the second half of this month.

This initiative, in collaboration with Wellspring Hydro, is supported by a combined US$2.5 million in funding from the North Dakota government.

The company also confirmed its upcoming name change to LibertyStream Infrastructure Partners, to reflect its strategy of partnering with U.S. oilfield infrastructure players to extract lithium from the significant streams of produced water associated with oil and gas production.

The name change proposal will be tabled at the June 18 shareholder meeting.
