STOCKHOLM, Jan 29 (Reuters) - Volvo Cars

has signed an agreement to buy struggling Swedish battery maker

Northvolt's stake in their joint battery venture NOVO Energy,

the Sweden-based automaker said on Wednesday, without disclosing

the price.
