08:45 AM EDT, 03/26/2025 (MT Newswires) -- VR Resources ( VRRCF ) provided Wednesday results from its first winter drill program at the Silverback copper-gold project in Ontario.
Among highlights, VR said it intersected shear-zone hosted quartz veins with pyrite, chalcopyrite and anomalous gold in four of six holes. It added the Cu-Au geochemical signature is consistent with an epizonal, intrusion-associated orogenic mineral system
The company confirmed the presence of anomalous gold up to 160 parts per billion in all zones of intense shearing intersected in each drill hole.
"These early-stage results are an important confirmation of the extent and style of mineralization at Silverback," VR CEO Justin Daley said. "The drill holes provide pierce points for new copper-gold mineralization in an area of widespread glacial cover, and the geochemistry provides a clear epizonal, intrusion-related signature."
VR's share price dropped 11.1% on Tuesday to $0.04 on the TSXV.
