01:42 PM EDT, 09/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Vuzix ( VUZI ) and Saphlux, a quantum dot micro-LED display maker, said Friday they will collaborate to advance augmented reality display and optical solutions.

Under the collaboration, Saphlux will supply its mono-green micro-LED display, which Vuzix ( VUZI ) will integrate using its proprietary waveguides and system design expertise.

The companies said they also plan to expand their work to develop a full-color AR optical solution and co-develop a reference design display engine by the end of the year, including both a dual-eye mono-green retrofit and a single-eye mono-green model.

Shares of Vuzix ( VUZI ) were up more than 5% in recent trading.
